The Money Advice Service is provided by government and gives free and impartial advice to consumers. It is designed to give access to information about making financial decisions, such as loans, mortgages, pensions, investments, life insurance and whole range of other financial matters.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is the financial regulatory body in the United Kingdom and regulates Financial institutions such as Financial Advisers.

 

The FCA regulates financial firms providing services to consumers and maintains the integrity of the UK’s financial markets.

Free and impartial government guidance to help you understand what you can do with your pension pot. However, Pension Wise won’t recommend any products or tell you what to do with your money. Advice is in this area is regulated and you would need to discuss this with a qualified authorised Financial Adviser.

The Pensions Regulator is a non-departmental public body which holds the position of the regulator of work-based pension schemes in

the UK. 

 

The Pensions regulator is responsible for regulating the new work based pension schemes more commonly known as

Auto Enrolment.

The Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) is there to help settle disputes between consumers and UK-based businesses providing financial services, such as banks, building societies, insurance companies, investment firms, financial advisers and finance companies.

 

Before the Ombudsman becomes involved the customer must have attempted to have their complaint resolved by the institution.
